As a UNESCO City of Music, Glasgow is one of the leading lights of the country’s contemporary music scene, with over 130 events taking place throughout the city each week. There is everything from large scale arena tours in the SECC to the restored O2 Academy art deco theatre, and the intimate musical experience of King Tut’s Wah Wah Hut, one of the best small gig venues in the world. Many leading bands and artists start out there, so head along to hear some of the best unsigned talent around.
