Farmers’ markets are a regular feature across towns and cities throughout Scotland, and a wonderful showcase of mouth-watering local produce. Discover the wealth of foodie delights available at the regular farmers’ markets and at farm shops throughout the Highlands. Purchase fresh local produce including meat, seafood, fruit and vegetables direct from the producers who can share culinary advice.

Local farmers’ markets are always worth exploring as you can pick up fantastic produce and speak to the producers for tips and advice. Inverness Farmers’ Market is held on the first Saturday of each month and offers a delectable selection of fresh fruit and vegetables, dairy products, breads and cakes. There are also farmers' markets held monthly in the Cairngorms National Park, alternating between the towns of Grantown-on-Spey and Aviemore.
