Over 300 of Scotland's privately owned gardens and estates are part of Scotland’s Gardens (SG), which allows you entry into beautiful gardens, which are not usually open to the public, in aid of charity.

Whether you want to discover formal walled gardens, small country gardens or fancy exploring creative gardens where you can see nature and art working in perfect harmony, you’ll find a plethora of gardens to visit, each bursting with colour and interest all year round.

In spring, tread carefully amidst carpets of bluebells and wild hyacinths and enjoy the magnificent colours of rhododendrons and azaleas between March and June. In summer, see amazingly colourful herbaceous borders and breathe in the intoxicating scent from the rose gardens which fills the air. During autumn the tree-lined hillsides, gorges and gardens blaze with fiery hues. In winter, look out for colourful winter berries and carpets of beautiful white snowdrops which can be seen in castle grounds, winter woodlands and even by starlight as part of the annual Scottish Snowdrop Festival.
