Find out about the many beautiful parks and gardens of the Scottish Borders.

Explore Priorwood Garden and Dried Flower Shop, Scotland’s only dried flower garden, take a wander around the fantastic Hawick Walled Garden or enjoy the stunning array of native and exotic plants at Dawyck Botanic Gardens.

Experience a dazzling array of colour at Dawyck in Stobo as swatches of rhododendrons and Himalayan poppies come into bloom. Take a gentle stroll along the picturesque woodland paths of this renowned arboretum, and stand under the shade of the garden's towering conifers.

The grounds at Traquair House, Innerleithen are made up of over 100 acres of woodlands, lawns and a more modern maze. Look out for a huge array of trees, including Douglas Firs, limes, ash, horse chestnut and beech, not to mention some of the oldest yews in Scotland. At the west side of the house, look out for Cupid’s Garden, tucked away out of view and very romantic with a grey and white theme.

Explore the 56 acres of formal and informal gardens at Manderston House, with lake and Chinese bridge, and admire the gateway into the formal garden, which is gilded to catch the light from the setting sun.
