See some of Scotland's remarkable wildlife, from timourous red squirrels to playful dolphins.
From the green and tranquil woodlands of Argyll to the region’s glorious coastline and islands, Argyll & The Isles offers visitors some of the best opportunities to get close to some of Scotland’s most vibrant and important species.
The many reserves and centres across the region and the various landscapes they encompass are home to an incredible range of wilife species including birds of prey, deer, red squirrels and even beavers.
The islands themselves are an important local breeding ground for many seabird species, and you can also expect to see the spectacular golden and white-tailed eagles, red deer and otters.
Take a boat trip out into the Atlantic Ocean off the mountainous coastline of Argyll and in and around the Inner Hebridean islands for your best chance to spot minke whales, porpoises, seals and seabirds.
