In spite of its large and many urban centres, Greater Glasgow & The Clyde Valley still offers the wildlife lover plenty of opportunites to sample and enjoy a surprisingly large variety of species and habitats.

Within the City of Glasgow itself - Scotland largest - you'll find various parks and urban nature reserves where you can spot deer, otter and the iconic Highland cow, together with a huge number of different bird species.

And no matter how close you are to built-up areas, you're always right on the doorstep of some fantastic scenic locations such as the Falls of Clyde, the Clyde-Muirshiel Regional Park and other natural oases that are alive with all manner of birds and mammals.
