If you’re a huge James Bond fan like myself, you’ll be super excited with the news of the 50th anniversary celebrations taking place this week throughout the UK. The celebrations are starting in Scotland, which has been a popular shooting location for Bond films in the past, such as the scenes filmed in Argyll for From Russia with Love. Glen Etive will also be featured in the upcoming James Bond movie Skyfall‘ which is set for release in October.

A special case featuring the first box set of all 22 Bond films on Blu-ray will travel the length of Britain (think of an Olympic torch relay, but James Bond style) via an Aston Martin DBS, by helicopter, by train and boat. The mission begins today in the West Highlands at Eilean Donan Castle, which was the setting of MI6′s Scottish headquarters in the movie The World is Not Enough.’
