You can take the boy out of Scotland…
Craig Ferguson, star of the hit US chat series The Late Late Show, recently returned to his homeland of Scotland to film a series of special episodes celebrating kilts, haggis, whisky and generally all things Scottish.
Airing in the US last week, The Late Late Show in Scotland featured celebrities such as Mila Kunis (Black Swan) and Michael Clarke Duncan (The Green Mile), who travelled with Craig to film segments of the show from across Scotland. Highlights include Edinburgh Castle, Arbroath Abbey, Glasgow’s Kelvingrove Art Gallery and of course myself and Craig’s hometown of Cumbernauld.
Craig, who is also the voice behind Lord Macintosh in Disney•Pixar’s upcoming animated adventure Brave, clearly enjoyed his visit to Scotland. According to the Daily Record, he told a US interviewer “I came away from it really ra-ra for Scotland, like people should go and see it. It’s a great place to go.”
