Think you know everything about whisky and its traditions? Well you should definitely check out Edinburgh’s Whisky Stramash for an eye opening experience on Saturday 25th May and Sunday 26th May. Based in the macabre yet elegant Surgeon’s Hall and described as ‘the glorious rammy’ this whisky event goes beyond mere sampling!
With internationally renowned Scottish brands like Glenfiddich, AnCnoc, The Macallan and Highland Park headlining there are a vast array of quality drams to try.
The full event programme has been kept notoriously secret, to create an air of mystery and intrigue, although a few enticing hints have been released: from Glendfiddich’s Warehouse 47 virtual distillery tours; Deanston Malt Whisky time machine; the Woodford Reserve Speakeasy with illicit cocktails and Lindy Hop and Douglas Laing & Co’s Crazy Molecular Sensory Lab, there is something sure to suit all whisky tastes including those you never would have tried at home!
Themed costumes are optional and open to all ‘big kids’ and young at heart over 18yrs. Tickets are £26 for the 4 hour event including whisky samples and entertainment. Even better yet, we are offering 25% off tickets with the VisitScotland code VSPROM1
The Edinburgh Festival season is now well underway, so why not dust off the cobwebs with some great summer events throughout the city.
