Harry Potter Trail to Debut at Edinburgh Festival
Are you planning a trip to the Edinburgh Festival this year? Are you also a fanatical Harry Potter fan? If you answered yes to both questions, we hope you will be excited at news of a special Harry Potter Trail launching at this year’s Edinburgh Festival. The walking tour will give you a taste of everything Hogwarts related over 90 minutes, where robed guides (wands included!) will lead you through Harry Potter hot spots scattered across Edinburgh’s old town.
Stops in the tour range from the café where J.K Rowling wrote Harry Potter and the Philospher’s Stone, to the place where Lord Voldemort was reborn – at the grave of Thomas Riddell in Greyfriar’s Kirkyard.
The unofficial tour takes place throughout August with two outings a night, one at 6:30pm and one at 9pm, every day of the festival. For more information about the trail visit the Potter Trail
