Every one knows Nessie, the fabled monster that hangs about Loch Ness, when she’s not starring in Hollywood blockbusters, various exhibitions or just scaring the wits out passers-by allegedly (never the people who are actually out there trying to find her, mind you).
Shameless plug time: if you want a good introduction to the whole Loch Ness story, have a look at my book on Nessie. Don’t worry, it’s not an affiliate link, I don’t make any money from it (sadly) and I guarantee no monsters were harmed in the making of this book.
But behind the myth, legend and visitor hype, there’s a real Loch Ness and photographer Jamie Stoker has produced this brilliant photo essay which really captures the spirit of the place and some of the people that live and work around it.
Whether you believe in the monster on not, Jamie’s images make you want to go and have a look yourself – just in case.
