One of the things I’ve learned whilst living in Scotland is that when the weather is great outside, you have to take full advantage of it. Before the temperature drops for the winter, the crisp (and often beautiful) October weather means it’s the perfect time to get active and amongst the outdoors – and one of the best ways to see Scotland’s natural beauty is by bike!
Roshina Jowaheer from AOL Travel has given us a full run down here on all the great cycling activities on offer in the Scottish Borders. With quiet country roads and world class mountain biking facilities (our resident mountain biking expert Richard Kelly can attest to this!) a weekend away in our cycling capital is the perfect way to enjoy Scotland on two wheels. But we won’t go into too much detail, go and read Roshina’s article on cycling in the Scottish Borders today.
