I recently found this Amy Macdonald interview from last month posted in The Glaswegian where she shares her love about Glasgow.

An excerpt from the article:

‘I’m very proud of where I come from and as I travel the world, I always spread the word about Glasgow…I can never actually sum up exactly why I love Glasgow so much but one of the best aspects of the city is its people. There is nothing quite like a Glaswegian’

Amy was born in Bishopbriggs in East Dunbartonshire and toured the world, but it’s great to know she hasn’t forgotten her roots! As they say, you can take the girl out of Glasgow…

Check out Amy’s recent single ‘Pride‘ which was filmed on the roof of the Chamber of Commerce in George Sqaure or if you’re planning to visit Scotland’s biggest city in the near future, why not check out our list of things to do in Glasgow & the Clyde Valley area.

What do you love most about Glasgow? Tell us in the comments!
