Road Trip of a Lifetime: Windsurfing on Lewis

Isle of Lewis

For those who love the great outdoors, there’s something very special about the Isle of Lewis. In particular, it offers a wide array of water sports which Irish Wave Sailor Timo Mullen took full advantage earlier this year. Along with his brother Tam, the guys put together a neat 15 minute video documenting their windsurfing road trip on Lewis. Filmed in early September, it turned out to be the perfect time to visit as they were out in the water until 10:30pm some nights due to the extended daylight hours.

Timo reached out to us through Twitter to share this and after watching it ourselves we couldn’t help but share it with everyone on the blog! So sit back, grab a cup of tea and enjoy their 15 minute video – it won’t disappoint!
