In case you’re wondering what’s on in Perthshire in the next couple of weeks, here’s a quick round up of some highlights.
For a bit of a traditional music, head to Blair Castle where fiddlers from all over the globe will be performing at the 40th Glenfiddich Fiddle Championship on 26th October to compete for the most prestigious honour in Scottish traditional music.
Or why not pop into one of the 25 venues across Perthshire that will be taking part in a ten-day Perthshire Amber Festival, which starts today, 25th October and lasts till 3rd November? Over 250 music stars from around the world will be performing, including an award-winning songwriter Karin Polwart alongside the likes of an exciting new collaboration known as The MacLean Project.
And if you haven’t been yet, here is your last chance to experience the magical Enchanted Forest in Faskally Woods near Pitlochry. Take a sneak peak to see what it’s like, but be warned – once you’ve seen it, you’ll not want to miss it!
Happy weekend everyone!
