Merida from Disney Pixar's Brave

Brave Director Mark Andrews has recently shared some great insights into how his team prepared to make the new Disney Pixar movie ‘Brave’ on Breakfast TV in Canada on Tuesday.

Mark touched on the research trips he went on to capture the lay of the land to give the most authentic portrayal of Scotland on the big screen. Mark mentions how his team went through a range of active pursuits, such as swimming and climbing in various locations in Scotland to get inspiration:

‘It was just a fabulous, fabulous place where every rock, tree, stone, river has its own particular story cos they’re just steeped with myth and legend and stories, it’s just a fantastic place’ – Brave Director Mark Andrews
