Occupation: Eday Ranger
What has been your biggest and best Brilliant Moment in Scotland? Too many and all nature-related: seeing a newly-fledged golden eagle chick taking its first flight from a nest I'd monitored all summer. Or while working at Loch of the Lowes Nature Reserve, I was on osprey watch when the first chick of 2009 hatched, seen on the high definition nest cam. Or this year, seeing a pod of five killer whales fishing off the coast of Eday.

What are you looking forward to most in 2014? Playing golf and exams. It would be great to go to The Ryder Cup.
