Ivy Cottage is situated on the Southern edge of the Aldourie Estate in a peaceful location. It offers high quality accommodation for four people. Built in the style of a typically traditional Crofter’s cottage, abound with period character and charm, it has all the modern day comforts you could hope for.
Two floors. Ground Floor: entrance hall, sitting room, combined kitchen and dining room, and bathroom. There are entrances both at the front and rear. Upstairs: two comfortable bedrooms (one of which with its own ensuite bathroom). For the comfort and convenience of guests, all Aldourie cottages are provided with fresh linen and towels. The Aldourie Estate is four miles from the centre of Inverness and approximately 40 minutes by car from Inverness airport. There is also a good bus service.
Garden Cottage is tucked away on the Northern edge of the Aldourie Estate, within the grounds of the idyllic old Kitchen Garden. The location is quiet and secluded and this charming little cottage comprises very comfortable accommodation for six guests. Garden Cottage includes facilities for disabled visitors.
Two floors. Ground Floor: sitting room, well-equipped dining room / kitchen, the third room can be used either as a study or as a third bedroom (feat. an ensuite shower room), main bathroom, hall and two entrances. Upstairs: two good-sized bedrooms
Gate Lodge is in the centre of the Aldourie Estate and offers tranquil and secluded accommodation for five guests. The cottage has been lovingly restored to a very high standard of comfort and is within easy walking distance of Loch Ness and the hills beyond.
Two floors. Downstairs: sitting room, dining room / kitchen, entrance hall and separate washroom. Upstairs: main bedroom (feat. its own ensuite shower room), two further bedrooms and a spacious bathroom.
Pier Cottage is located right on the shore of Loch Ness, next to the Estate Marina, and offers a tranquil and secluded setting for up to six guests.
One floor only: sitting room, large kitchen/breakfast area, separate dining room leading out to the garden, separate w/c and utility room. There are three bedrooms, two double rooms (one with an en-suite bath/shower room), and one twin room. There is also a house bathroom with shower.

If approaching from Central Scotland via the A9, from Aberdeen via the A96, or from the North via the Kessock Bridge, leave the A9 at the junction signposted "Raigmore Hospital, Police Headquarters and Inshes Retail Park".
From the roundabout take the South Ring Road west along Sir Walter Scott Road, following the signs for the B862 Dores Road. Turn left and follow the B862 toward Dores. Aldourie Castle Estate is four miles from this roundabout on the right hand side of the road.
If approaching from Inverness follow the same directions as from the TIC.
From the nearest information centre:- Aldourie Castle and Estate is on the Dores Road seven miles from Inverness TIC and one mile short of Dores village.
Follow the B862 out from the City Centre along Island Bank Road and on to the Dores Road. Go straight through the roundabout and continue on the B862 towards Dores.
The entrance to the Estate is on the right hand side of the road marked by two gate posts, at the start of a long hill approximately four miles from the roundabout.
Garden Cottage is situated within the Kitchen Garden to the left of the main drive.
Getting there by railway:- From Inverness Railway Station follow the same directions as from the TIC.
Getting there by aeroplane:- Aldourie Castle and Estate is 16 miles from Inverness Airport and can be reached in 30 minutes. Take the A96 to Inverness and turn left onto the A9. Follow it for ¾ mile to the next junction, marked "Raigmore Hospital, Police Headquarters and Inshes Retail Park".
Turn off here and follow the same directions as for car drivers.
As of 2015 there are now direct flights to Inverness airport from London and Dublin.
