    Public Transport Directions

    From the nearest information centre:- From Aviemore drive south 6 miles following signs to Loch Insh Watersports. Drive through Kincraig and 1 mile around lochside to the Boathouse Restaurant entrance. Continue on the road up hill for 100 metres, turn right at junction, Loch Insh Log Chalets on the right hand side.

    Getting there by railway:- From Aviemore Railway Station take taxi 6 miles to Kincraig and then 1 mile to Loch Insh Log Chalets.

    Getting there by aeroplane:- From Inverness Airport head towards Inverness town. At 1st roundabout go straight across to Inverness town. At 2nd roundabout turn left onto A9 towards Perth and Aviemore. From Inverness stay on the A9 for 40 miles. Turn off the a9 after Aviemore where you will see a sign for Loch Insh watersports. Follow the signs for Loch Insh watersports 6 miles through Kincraig and drive around the loch edge. Turn right at the junction and Loch Insh. Chalets are on the right.
