From Banchory take the A980 at all times, this road takes you through the village of Torphins then on to Lumphanan. Take a right turn into the village of Lumphanan, still on the A980 following signs for Craigievar Castle or Alford and continue on this road going uphill for 3 miles until you come to a junction. At this junction take a right turn then first left still following signs for Alford and we are the first house on the right hand side.
From Alford take the A980 and follow this road all the way, past the road entrance for Craigievar Castle and we are approx two miles past the Castle entrance on the left hand side of the road.
From Aberdeen we are beside the junction where the B9119 and the A980 cross over heading towards Alford
