Abbey Cottage Tearoom

Abbey Cottage, 26 Main Street, New Abbey, Dumfries, Dumfries & Galloway, DG2 8BY

Abbey Cottage Tearoom, Gallery and Gift shop is located beside Sweetheart Abbey and serves coffees, light lunches and afternoon tea.

Our family run tearoom is situated next to the beautiful ruins of Sweetheart Abbey.

We serve home made soups, home baking and speciality coffees and teas in our tearoom and garden, and we are passionate about home baking and local produce.
Our favourite family recipes appear in the Dumfries and Galloway Standard, the Galloway News and 'Baking with Jacqui' in the Daily Record.

You can find out more about Abbey Cottage, and try some of our recipes for yourself, in our 'Home & Hearty' cookbook.
