    The wetland habitat and bird hide can be found on the edge of Leswalt village, adjacent to Aldouran Glen Woodland and bounded by the Aldouran Burn.

    This is a unique visitor experience offering a community garden with raised dry walled flower beds and trees, an adjacent wetland area with a boardwalk and bird hide leading through to a beautiful woodland walk. Red squirrels, wetland and woodland birds can be seen from the hide and the associated flora and fauna of the wetland area are fascinating. Picnic tables are supplied. Come and enjoy this peaceful, beautiful haven free of charge.

    Leswalt is situated 3 miles from Stranraer on the A718.

    Parking is available at Leswalt Memorial Hall from where the Wetland Garden and Woodland Walk are signposted.

    Disabled parking is available at the entrance gate - signed as you enter the village.
