Aviemore to Glenmore - The "Old Logging Way"

    The Old Logging Way in is a 4 mile route (one way) which provides a safe off-road route between Aviemore and Glenmore / Loch Morlich.

    From the railway station in Aviemore follow the main road south for about 200 metres until a path on the left leads downhill and underneath the railway (signposted as "Old Logging Way"). Turn right after passing under the railway and continue following the signs to cross the River Spey. The route, which is signpotsed the whole way, continues through Inverdruie and onwards through Rothiemurchus and Glenmore forests to reach Glenmore and Loch Morlich.
