    Walking and Wildlife Adventures specialises in running sea kayaking, wildlife holidays and walking holidays in Scotland. We are based in the North West Highlands with opportunities to see all of Scotland's Big 5  (Red deer, otters, red squirrel, harbour seal and golden eagle) plus white tailed (sea) eagles.


    Walking and Wildlife Adventures has its own fleet of sea kayaks. We only work with small groups (up to 4 people) and focus on enjoying enjoyable kayaking I search for wildlife and exploring the hidden coasts around Wester Ross. We also run kayaking trips on Loch Maree, famed for its sea eagles, divers, Caledonian forests and rich folklore. 


    The Torridon Mountains and An Teallach are our playground and we know them well whether its a Munro to bag or landscape interpretation your after we can help.


    The waters around Gairloch are some of the best for spotting whales and dolphins in Europe, we can arrange for you to go on one of the local whale spotting boats as part of a package with us.


    We also run wildlife walks at Rua Reidh Lighthouse and around Loch Maree.


    We can offer bespoke tours, hire of a guide for the day and opportunities to see of Scotland’s Big 5.


    Our Director Cory Jones is an International Mountain Leader, 4* Sea Kayak Leader and has worked for the Wildlife Trusts, RSPB and worked as a expedition and wildlife guide across the globe.


    Our small B&B is just outside Gairloch - its called Oran Mara, Melvaig.
