Carnoustie Beach

Beaches

The small pretty sand and rock beach in Carnoustie is located just a few minutes walking distance from the train station and town centre yet feels secluded from the town itself.

The beautiful bay of Carnoustie Beach sits nestled below the celebrated Carnoustie Golf Course which played host to the Open Golf Championships in 1999 and 1997.

Steps and a slipway for the local boat club allow easy access to the beach while the adjacent Leisure Centre offers superb sports facilities alongside outdoor tennis courts and free car parking.

To the back of beach is the Sandy Sensation Adventure Play Area which offers a paddling pool, climbing frames and other playground equipment.
