Connel And North Connel

Towns & Villages

The small settlements of Connel and North Connel sit at opposite ends of Connel Bridge, found 5 miles north of Oban.

This majestic, steel cantilever bridge spans the sea-mouth of Loch Etive and was built in 1903 to take the railway line to Fort William. Today it supports the main A828 into Benderloch.
