    The village of Kilchrenan is situated at the foot of the munro, Ben Cruachan, close to Loch Awe in Argyll and Bute.

    Surrounded by unspoilt scenic landscape, lochs and mountains, Kilchrenan is a popular tourist destination with great range of facilities.

    There are many walks in the area to be had and the loch is popular for fishing with an abundance of trout and pike. Hill-walkers and nature-watchers would enjoy the climb to the top of Ben Cruachan which stands at 1119m high and offers amazing views and a great variety of wildlife in the area including golden eagles and ospreys.
