Whisky May

May is whisky month, a fabulous celebration of Scotland's national drink, as world-famous an icon of Scotland as tartan and bagpipes. Whisky is so much a part of Scotlands heritage that the name even comes from the Gaelic 'uisge beatha' meaning 'water of life'. Visiting a distillery gives a wonderful insight into the craft and tradition that goes into ever drop.
