Balvaig Cottage is a renovated cottage with an open plan kitchen and dining area, with a relaxing sitting room with floor to ceiling windows affording views to a wooded hillside. The accommodation has a well appointed new kitchen, dining and sitting area, tv, 2 bedrooms, new bathroom with bath with a shower over and useful porch to the rear with a washing machine/dryer. There is gated access to the front and back of the cottage, and off road parking for up to 3 cars.

Located in the Highlands, the cottage is an ideal base for exploring the many intersting places in Rob Roy country, the spectacular surrounding countryside and enjoying a variety of outdoor activities. Easier still you can simply walk from the back of the cottage up into the woods or from the front follow the cycle path to Strathyre or Kinghouse. The village of Strathyre is within easy walking distance, with a shop and places to eat and drink. The longer walk to Kingshouse is rewarded by a lovely cafe, bar and restaurant.

Located within walking distance of the small village of Strathrye on the A84 route to the Highlands.

Car is the best way to reach Balvaig Cottage. From Glasgow it is 50 miles via the M80/A84 or Edinburgh 65 miles M9/A84 which takes just over an hour.
