    This self catering unit is just a 15 minute walk from the picturesque village of Edzell in Angus. In the village you will find a good selection of shops, cafes, hotels and a large well equipped play area for children.

    There are two golf courses and a driving range nearby. Within walking distance from the cottage you can discover the Renaissance Architecture of Edzell Castle or the dramatic scenery along the banks of the North Esk gorge. This cottage is a perfect base for those wishing to explore Angus by bicycle with a network of scenic country roads and rural villages. The Angus Glens offer varied hill walking routes and are just a short drive away. Three of the most beautiful beaches of the east coast are also within a 30 minute drive. The towns of Stonhaven, Montrosse, Arbroath and the cities of Dundee and Aberdeen offer a wide range of shops and sites of historical or cultural interest. Dunlappie Garden Cottage provides flexible self catering accommodation for up to 6 guests with a double room a twin room and a sofa bed in the lounge. The lounge has freeview TV, a DVD player with a selection of DVD's a wood burning stove and a variety of books and games. There is one double bed room and one twin room. All linen and towels are included. There is a shower room with electric shower. The kitchen/ dining area has seating for 6 and includes a washing machine, fridge (with freezer box), electric hob and oven and a microwave.
    Although we encourage you to use the large wood burning stove in the lounge and the tiny stove in the main bedroom, the cottage also has central heating. All fuel costs and logs included in the rent.
    Children are welcome and a cot and high chair are available on request. We also supply a baby bath for those too small to use the shower.
    The large garden catches the sun for most of the day. There are benches, a picnic table, an outside drying area and a selection of outdoor games provided. The secure garage is useful for storing golf equipment, kayaks, prams or bicycles.

    Road Directions

    Follow the A90 and exit at the junction signposted Edzell B966. Follow the road to the village of Inchbare. Turn left and follow the road for 1.5miles. Turn right, signposted Edzell. Take the next road on the left into Dunlappie Farm. Turn left at the end of the drive then follow the Walled Garden boundary to the left.
