Anne and Chris Dalton would like to welcome you to 'Garryloop', a converted barn and cobblers cottage which now offers high quality bed and breakfast accommodation. Our home is set in the beautiful rolling hills of South Ayrshire,offering a haven of tranquillity in private grounds of almost 6 acres of wooded and landscaped gardens, with spectacular views across the Kintyre Penninsular and to Ailsa Craig and the isle of Arran. Garryloop is only 3 miles from Girvan and is close to all local amenities, tourist attractions and local beaches. The area is remowned for its forest walks, nature trails, fishing and is particularly famous for its golf courses, the most notable being Turnberry and Royal Troon.
    The catering at Garryloop is renowned and Anne and Chris grow almost all their own produce organically, and meals are centered around seasonal produce from the gardens.
    This is quality bed and breakfast at its best in an idyllic setting.

    Road Directions

    From the South follow the M6 North to the A74, continue North. At the A75 turn off following Stranraer. At Crocketford turn right following A712 until you rech the A713, turn right towards Ayr.After Dalmellington turn Left following B741 to Straiton, in Straiton turn right at the T junction and take the next Left towards Dailly on the B7023, after passing through Dailly you will come to the sign to Garryloop in 3 miles.
    From the North follow Ayr and then Stranraer on the A77 South, at Girvan take the left off the roundabout towards Barr on the B7023, you will come to tha Garryloop sign in around 4 miles.

    Public Transport Directions

    From the nearest information centre:- Travel South following the A77 signed to Stranraer. After around 18 miles you will approach Girvan, at the roundabout turn left along the B7023 after about 4 miles you will come to a brown tourist sign to Garryloop, off to the right

    Getting there by railway:- From Glasgow both North and South take train via Ayr to the railway station at Girvan, taxi from Girvan journey of 4 miles or collection can be arranged

    Getting there by aeroplane:- From Prestwick around 45 mins or from Glasgow around 1 hour 20 mins by car.

    Getting there by ferry:- From either SCairnryan, North on A77 car journey of around 25 minutes.
