    Dalachy Farm sits 1½ miles from picturesque Aberdour conservation village on the A921 in the historic Kingdom of Fife.With sea views in a rural location Dalachy is run by the Inglis who grow a variety of crops as well as rearing cattle and sheep.Our Dalachy Beef and Lamb is available at local Farmer's Markets and Farm shops. Ideal for throwing a home reared steak on the barbie or taking a roast away to enjoy at home,

    Riverview Farmhouse Flat in the countryside by the sea on an elevated South facing position. It has a magnificent outlook over the garden and River Forth towards Edinburgh with the Pentland hills on the horizon. Part of the ground floor of our traditional stone farmhouse, this light and spacious accommodation is completely self contained, with a comfortable cottage character.

    Aberdour (5 minutes by car) is a picturesque conservation village. There is a range of good eating places such as coffee shops, restaurants and pubs-some with live music. Shops include the baker, newsagent, chemist, mini supermarket, gifts, antiques, jewellery and art gallery. Other amenities available include the blue flag award beach, harbour, church, castle, bowling green, tennis courts, golf course, coastal walks and railway station. 

    Edinburgh and all thet Scotland's capital city has to offer is only 35 minutes by train over the world famous Forth rail bridge.

    Road Directions

    By car from the South
    After crossing  the Forth Bridge, leave the M90 at the second slipway - Junction 1 which is signposted for Rosyth, Dalgety Bay and Burntisland. Head east towards Burntisland on the A921. Travel through Aberdour and after one mile turn left into Dalachy farm road where you will see Farmer's Market signs. Take the left hand side farm track road and pass 3 houses on your right. Continue and go through the black gates to your left over the cattle grid. There is parking at the far end of the house where you will see the French doors entrance.

     

    By car from the North - travel South on the M90 to Junction 1 then follow directions as above.

    From Edinburgh airport - by car Follow signs for the North and the Forth Road Bridge. Then follow the directions for By car as above.

     

    From Aberdour railway station we advise pre arranging a taxi or a lift and follow the above directions.

     

    By bus the Number 7 passes half hourly from Dunfermline and Anstruther. Ask the driver to stop at Dalachy Farm road end.
