Stunning views of the outer Hebrides and located in the breath-taking Trotternish Peninsula, we offer you a true Skye welcome to our home. We also offer an evening meal, all dietary requirements catered for, a sample menu is available on request.

Situated in the northern tip of the stunning Trotternish peninsula, The Old Post Office offers a double/family ensuite room in an area of Skye that has everything you'll need to relax and recuperate.

The Trotternish peninsula is full of natural beauty incorportating the rock pinnacles of the Old Man of Storr, the waterfalls at Mealt and the Kilt Rock, the landscape of the Quiraing and the Fairie Glen as well as offering stunning views across to the Scottish mainland to the East and Outer Hebrides to the North & West.

Locally, we also have a 2000 year old Iron Age souterrain (underground passage) and The Skye Museum of Island Life, a collection of thatched cottages displaying the way of life in days gone by. In the graveyard close by there is the monument and grave of Flora MacDonald, the Highland Heroine who helped Prince Charlie escape "over the sea to Skye".

Evening meals are available on request (with advanced notice) and we are delighted to say we have a residence license as well allowing you to relax with a glass of wine or wee dram when/where you wish.
