    Trace the history of this formidable Borders family at the biggest Armstrong museum in the world.

    The museum is based in Langholm in the heart of reiving country and contains a comprehensive collection of the clan's artefacts and memorabilia including armour, heraldry and archives. The Clan Armstrong Trust is devoted to researching and preserving the heritage, history and culture of the Armstrongs. Membership is open to anyone with an interest in the clan.

    Getting there by aeroplane:- From Edinburgh Airport to A7 road south for 70 miles.

    Getting there by ferry:- From Stranraer to Dumfries to Gretna signposted Longtown. Turn left onto A7 west of Longtown northwards.
