Balmaha Millennium Forest Park

Forests & Woodlands

Balmaha Millennium Forest Path is a great walk exploring the village of Balmaha near Loch Lomond.

With 800 acres of Scots pine and other indigenous broadleaf trees being planted on the east bank of Loch Lomond, this exciting environment forms a 3,000 acre forest recreating Scotland’s native woodland. Its path climbs up to the site of Craigie Fort before returning via a path cut out of the rock on the very edge of Loch Lomond.
