    Coupar Angus is a small market town in Perthshire, north east of the city of Perth and north west of the city of Dundee.

    The town is amongst rich agricultural land and the area is known for the berries grown here. There is a long history in this town with the remains of a Roman camp lying to the east and the ruins of a gateway to what was a Cistercian Abbey, founded by King Malcolm in the 12th century.
