This charming blue flag beach is located to the west of Banff in Aberdeen City and Shire.
Inverboyndie has a very popular beach which attracts many walkers, swimmers, surfers and windsurfers. A Marine Conservation Society recommended beach, Inverboyndie was designated as an EC identified bathing water in 1999 although it has been monitored since 1988. The beach has a sandy foreshore with sloping rocky access.
Inverboyndie Beach is situated at the 4 star awards Aberdeenshire Council caravan site and can be accessed at this point where toilets, information and a children's play area and telephone can be found. From Banff. Drive north on the A98 for approximately 3 miles. At this point the caravan park is sign poster to the right. Follow the road to the large car park and the beach can be accessed at this point.
