With just a little bit of imagination and a splash of paint, you and your family can transform pieces of pottery into beautiful works of art.

For a fun filled family day out head to Pirate Pete’s family entertainment centre on the Ayr seafront. With a Fun Park, Laser Storm, Mini Golf and Adventure Play, there are plenty of attractions to keep the whole family amused! To hear the story of Viking raids then head to the award-winning and action-packed Vikingar! in Largs.

The 13th century Kelburn Castle and Country Centre blends the old with the new and promises a massive amount of fun for little adventurers. At Culzean Castle & Country Park you can also adopt a deer for a year. After taking a tour of its magnificent interior, explore the castle’s extensive country estate. Children will spend hours amusing themselves at the Adventure Playground.

Arran can provide a wonderful historic odyssey all in one day. Start with the haunting standing stones dating back to Neolithic times on Machrie Moor, then take in Brodick Castle, a site which has history dating back to the 1200s.
