The Kingdom of Fife is home to a number of breweries which produce a diverse range of handcrafted ales, beers, ciders and spirits. You can take a guided tour to learn about the unique malting processes used to create distinctively flavoured and textured ales unique to the region, and there are plenty of welcoming bars, pubs and restaurants where you can sample them for yourself.

The Eden Brewery in St Andrews offers tours where you can uncover the secrets of the beer making process. Enjoy a tasting session at the end and pick up bottles of craft ale including The Clock and The 19th Brew.
Fife is also home to the wonderfully named Sheep Dip and Pig's Nose whiskies and Edinburgh Gin, which are produced by Spencerfield Spirits based in Inverkeithing.
