  • Cluanie Inn at dusk
    Cluanie Inn

Wherever you end up eating, a wonderful way of finishing off an exquisite meal is with a dram of Highland malt whisky or a local ale. Learn about the bars, pubs and inns located across the regions where you can sample these locally produced drinks while enjoying great food and warm hospitality.

You can savour some of the famous whiskies of Speyside in local inns of great character. Choose from a range of over 100 of the Highland’s finest single malts at the Cluanie Inn, Inverness, including rare whiskies from closed distilleries. The Old Forge in Inverie, Knoydart, is Britain’s most remote pub as there are no roads in or out. It is only accessible on foot or by boat.
