Flavour Fortnight, September

Dumfries & Galloway's flagship food and drink event, Flavour Fortnight is a 16-day extravaganza featuring over 100 events across the region. It coincides with the national Scottish Food & Drink Fortnight festival and previous years have included farm tours, artisan bread-making, cookery sessions, sell-out steak nights and chocolate sculptures.

Flavour Taster, May

Held over the Bank Holiday weekend in May, Flavour Taster is a bite-sized version of the September festival. It's a weekend packed with diverse foodie events. Find out more about both events at Savour the Flavours.

Castle Douglas Food Town Day, June

As Scotland’s only dedicated Food Town, Castle Douglas is a real haven of foodie delights. Each year the community comes together to celebrate this unique status with a fun-filled programme of events for all the family including stalls, a hog roast, cookery demonstrations and children’s rides.

Sulwath Brewery Beer Festival, May

Sample a great range of craft beers from the region’s only brewery and look out for guest ales and fun for all the family.
