Tighphuirt is set between the villages of Glencoe and Ballachulish and both provide shops, post offices and pubs. There is a Tourist Information Centre in Ballachulish and the National Trust for Scotland Visitor Centre is in Glencoe. Glencoe also has a Folk Museum and nearby forest walks.
