    Balbeag is a spacious and well appointed 4 bedroomed holiday home for up to 8 people, set amidst the splendour of the Cairngorm National Park.  In its tranquil wooded position on the approach to Glen Feshie, the cottage has far reaching views across the Spey Valley.  Built of pine logs in a 'Scandinavian' chalet style, Balbeag is comfortably furnished and equipped to an exceptional standard.  It provides a warm and friendly atmosphere for a great holiday and is an ideal base from which to enjoy all the attractions and activities of the Cairngorm National Park.

    Road Directions

    From Aviemore or Kingussie: - Take the B9152 to Kincraig, approx. 6 miles.  Turn into the village, go over the river Spey, pass the Loch Insh Watersports Centre and turn right at the T junction onto the B970. Take the first turning left, signed for Glen Feshie and after a few hundred yards, turn right at the sign for Balbeag.  The cottage is located amongst birch trees, a short distance from the road.  There is ample parking beside the cottage.   

    Public Transport Directions

    Getting to Balbeag by railway:- There are railway stations at both Aviemore or Kingussie, from which the remainder of the journey is by road. From  Aviemore or Kingussie, take the B9152 to Kincraig, approximately 6 miles. Turn into the village at the War Memorial, go over the River Spey, pass the Loch Insh Watersports Centre and turn right onto the B970. Take the first left and after a few hundred yards turn right onto the track signed for Balbeag, which is located a short distance among the birch trees.

    Getting there by aeroplane:- From Inverness Airport go towards Inverness and take the A9 south to Aviemore. From there take the B9152 to Kincraig, approximately 6 miles. Turn into the village at the War Memorial, go over the River Spey, pass the Loch Insh Watersports Centre and turn right onto the B970. Take the first left and after a few hundred yards turn right onto the track signed for Balbeag, which is located a shortdistance among the birch trees.
