Barn Cottage (sleeps 2):  March £432/week reduced from £540 (min 3 nights £350).  Easter now £452/week (3 nights £384).

An upside down house. Open plan living area upstairs and bedroom and shower room below. Beds are zip-linked giving option of super-king double or single beds.

Stable Cottage (sleeps 4): first available date 8th June £746 (6 nights)

Spacious open-plan living area with full length windows making the most of the view over Loch Awe. Spiral staircase to bedrooms, both with zip-linked double (super-king) or single bed options, and shower room. Feeder for red squirrels close-by. 

Barr-beithe Lower (sleeps up to 5): March £648 reduced from £810 (3 nights £550).  Easter now £676/week (3 nights £575).

Enjoys a lovely view over the bay and along Loch Awe from the cosy sunroom, patio and master bedroom. Easy to live in cottage with open-plan dining area, lounge and sunroom. 3 bedrooms (double, twin/zip-linked super-king, single). Separate shower room and bathroom.

Barr-beithe Upper (sleeps 6): March £712 reduced from £890 (min 3 nights £570).  Easter now £744/week (3 nights £633).

A large kitchen/dining area looking over a hill park, a cosy sunroom, lounge master bedroom and garden enjoying the views of Loch Awe all in a lovely garden of heathers and azaleas. 3 bedrooms (King-sized double, twin/super-king double and a twin room), lounge, sunroom, bathroom and shower rooms.

Blarghour is a good base to explore Argyll. Visit Oban and its distillery, a wander round Inveraray the castle and jail, a walk along Crinan Canal and historic Kilmartin Glen, the RSPB nature reserve on Moine Mhor or visit the beavers in the Heart of Argyll ​​​. Enjoy a drive through scenic Glenorchy, across the wilderness of Ranoch Moor and through Glencoe or take a ferry from Oban to Mull and Iona or a wildlife tour with Turus mara to Fingal's Cave and the puffins on the Treshnish Isles.

Sea Kayak Oban: offer full and half day sea kayaking trips and beginners are welcome. Most trips launch from the beach at Oban.  Recommended by our guests.

The cafe at Crinan Basin is also open and serving tea, coffee and cakes through a hatch for takeaway only.

For an excellent hands on falconry experience, book online with Kintail Birds of Prey - open all winter and only 5 miles from Blarghour.

Lots of castles and gardens to visit. For walking routes around Arygll the Walk Highlands website is hard to beat.
