Glencoe Mountain Cottages offer you the freedom of self catering, in a stunning location in the heart of Glencoe's majestic mountain scenery. The cottages are bright and very comfortably furnished, with wonderful views from every window.

" From the experience of staying at over 28 holiday cottages (mainly in Scotland), it takes only 2 minutes to make judgement; this place is the tops with all inside and out being fabulous."  The Darby Family

Our Glencoe self catering holiday cottages are wonderfully situated in a hidden valley off one of Scotland's finest, most magnicent and historical glens. Our two self catering holiday cottages offer you all the comforts of a home and sit below some of Scotland's highest mountains. Amongst this beautiful scenery, in what must be one of the most imposing and impressive locations in the country, we enjoy all around views with possibly the finest view of the Aonach Eagach Ridge in the Glencoe area.

Accessed by a one mile farm road off the main route through Glen Coe, our 4 star holiday cottages enjoy complete tranquillity in a truly peaceful setting, yet are only 3 miles from Glencoe Village and 18 miles from Fort William. The cottages are very well equipped and comfortable and have a 5 star award for cleanliness The views from the windows are just stunning. With no light polution, you can enjoy star gazing amongst the dark night sky.

From the front door you can wander further up our peaceful glen, alongside a mountain burn and get a true feel of being in the hills, even if you are not a hill walker.

The cottages are very popular and every year we are delighted to welcome back many past guests.

Ideally situated for both the outdoor enthusiast and as a centre for touring the sea lochs and glens of Lochaber and Argyll, Glencoe Mountain Cottages offer you a truly tranquil home base. Outdoor activity opportunities are plentiful. Walking, mountaineering, mountain biking, sailing, ice climbing and winter skiing, to name just a few, are all available locally.

We, Christine and David, would love to welcome you to this magical, secluded and breathtaking location. With 40 years of mountaineering experience in the Highlands, and having completed all his Munro's, Tops and Firths, David is always happy to share his wealth of knowledge of the surrounding hills.

At Glencoe Mountain Cottages we provide accommodation in two cottages, each sleeping six, in three bedrooms The bedrooms consist of one double room, one large twin bedded room and one room with adult size bunk beds.

Each cottage has a fully equipped kitchen, including a washing machine, dishwasher, fridge/freezer and microwave as well as a conventional oven. The living/dining room has patio doors overlooking the garden. Television with DVD player and iPad, CD/Radio players are provided. A small selection of DVD's, books and games, are also to be found in the cottage.

Outdoor furniture, including a barbeque, is provided for those Al Fresco moments!

Heating and hot water are both electric and the electricity used is charged at current standard Hydro-Electric rates at the end of your stay.
The water for the cottages comes fresh from a natural mountain spring and is UV filtered.

All bed linen and towels are provided at no additional cost, along with tea towels, J-cloths and all the powders and liquids to operate the kitchen appliances. For our very young visitors, a cot and high chair are available on request but bed linen for the cot needs to be provided by our guests.

As we are situated peacefully, one mile up a farm track, we have ample off road car parking space, available next to the cottages.

We welcome well behaved dogs over 18 months old, with a maximum of two per cottage, but they must be kept under strict control at all times and never left alone in the cottages.

We recognise the fact that not everyone wishes to holiday as a group and we therefore offer a discount for two person occupancy.

Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions or queries. We would be delighted to hear from you.
