2016 at Drimsynie - Exciting New

Work has started on a long planned for redevelopment of some of the public space at Drimsynie. They are building and/or extending what was the entrance and new wing. Information is limited as to how long this will take but I have no doubt that once completed it will offer some new and exciting areas for all visitors to enjoy. The work is well away from this lodge so you will not be inconvenienced. At some point some activities may not be available (indoor bowling, crazy golf and snooker). The Estate will make plans to minimise any disruption to activities. It is still very much business-as-usual. If you need more information, or if you would like an update on what activities will be available during your stay, please contact us at 07823554508.

    The Drimsynie Holiday Village

Safe to say that Drimsynie offers a unique choice in the west of Scotland with its first class all-weather leisure facilities. Use it as a base to explore the area or come and enjoy what they have to offer on the park.

    Road Directions

Lochgoilhead is situated just over an hours drive from Glasgow Airport. It is a small rural village, situated at the head of a sea loch (tidal lake) in stunning fjord like setting.

From Glasgow M8 motorway head past airport and follow signs for the Erskine Bridge. Over the Erskine Bridge follow the A82 for Loch Lomond.
Drive alongside Loch Lomond on the A82 until Tarbet (Note - There are several Tarbets in Scotland!) At Tarbet keep left onto the A83 passing through Arrochar.

Several miles after Arrochar you will start to climb a very significant hill. This is known as the 'Rest and be Thankful'. At the top of the hill there is a car park and viewpoint, and a small road signposted 'Lochgoilhead' .

Follow this road - (take care - single track!) for approximately 6 miles into the village.

Detailed directions are included with your final confirmation. We make sure the holiday property is really easy to find.

    Public Transport Directions

There is public transport by bus to the village from Helensburgh and Dunoon. Use the Traveline Scotland link right of this box to check times.
