Stay at Rua Reidh Lighthouse, a unique place in a stunning location. Independent family-run hostel with excellent facilities and great value . Whales, dolphins, otters and sea eagles from the lighthouse wall. Advance booking essential.
Rua Reidh Lighthouse, near Gairloch, stands at the entrance to Loch Ewe, at one of the most dramatic locations on the north-west coast of Scotland, with stunning views across the Minch to the Isle of Skye, the Shiant Isles and the Outer Hebrides. Built in 1912 by the famous Stevenson family, Rua Reidh is still a working lighthouse, but the original Keepers' Quarters are now an independent family-run four-star hostel and apartment, providing comfortable, relaxed accommodation at great value for money.
Please note that we have a minimum booking of two nights at the hostel.
