Seascape is a wonderful terraced property, situated towards the east end of the town. Its location right on the coast means it is lucky enough to boast unspoilt views of the Firth of Forth and the North Sea beyond. On sunny summer days, this is a particularly spectacular feature and sometimes it is even possible to see dolphins in the water when they stray towards the shores. The house itself has been newly furbished and is in immaculate condition throughout. Its open-plan design has been carefully considered to afford the best views of the sea from all the ground floor reception areas. On the upper level, there are similarly unrivalled views from the upstairs bedroom. It also features an enclosed garden to the front and back where you can sit out and enjoy the tranquil surroundings. Ample roadside parking is available and the centre of the town, with its amenities and restaurants, is within easy walking distance. Seascape is also a perfect base from which to explore the other picturesque towns of the East Neuk, with Pittenweem and Elie within 10 minutes drive in either direction. And the historic university town of St Andrews, with its cultural and sporting attractions, is a 20 minute drive away and there are bus links from St Monans around the coast. The accommodation is arranged over two levels with two of the bedrooms on the ground floor and the other on the floor above. It is perfect for families or groups of friends in search of a relaxing coastal holiday but with plenty of things to do and see within close reach.
Open-plan lounge and dining area: this spacious room has stunning views out across the sea and ample seating for 6 people. There are two window seats, an ideal place from which to take in the breathtaking outlook or relax with a book. There is a TV with Freeview channels, a DVD player and, if music is the order of the day, a CD player too. The dining area has a large table with seating for 6 and the sea views provide an extraordinary setting for your meals that is hard to come by elsewhere.
Kitchen/breakfast room: a modern galley-style kitchen with well-stocked cupboards and all mod-cons (including dishwasher, microwave and fridge-freezer). It has an electric oven with gas hobs. There is an adjoining breakfast area with a table and seating for 6, convenient for mornings.
Utility room: this room houses a washing machine and drier. It also has plenty of cupboard storage space.
Bathroom: there is a bath with electric shower above, toilet and wash hand basin with mirrored cupboard above. All recently installed and therefore very high quality.
Bedroom 1: a double bedroom with wardrobe and chest of drawers. It can be made up as a twin if required, thanks to zip-and-link beds.
Bedroom 2: another double, again with wardrobe and chest of drawers.
Bedroom 3: the upstairs double has great sea views from an elevated perspective and enjoys lots of sunlight from the sea-facing windows.
Bathroom: the upstairs bathroom serves the bedroom and features bath, separate shower, toilet and wash hand basin. Again, all the fittings in this room are brand new.
