The Cottage is the former stable block for Viewfield House and was built in 1886; a part of it was made into a cottage for the gardener forty years later.
The property has two double rooms en-suite, one twin room and two singles ~ plus one public bathroom. Well equipped with central heating and open fire, gas and electricity included. Ample parking. Children and pets welcome.
The views to the front of the cottage are of the woodland and the gardens, to the back the cottage is open to the hill and you may walk straight to the top of Fingal's seat.
The back garden enjoys considerable privacy and is a natural sun trap. Patio doors open out onto a terrace from the sitting room.
Prices for the cottage range from £450 - £750 per week.
Note: Prices are a guide only and may change on a daily basis.
