    Set in a beautifully peaceful situation in Cairngorms National Park, our lovely landscaped gardens adjoin open countryside and are paradise for guests and for wildlife including Red Squirrels, hedgehogs and hundreds of birds, many of which are very friendly. We have easy access to beautiful country walks yet are only a few minutes walk from Grantown-on-Spey Main Street.

    Designed by Alexander Marshall Mackenzie - the architect of buildings such as Crathie Church and The Waldorf in London - our house was built in 1910 and is now styled in a luxurious, tasteful blend of modern furnishings and Arts and Crafts antiques.

    We have three beautifully appointed bedrooms of which two can be let at any one time.  All have fine linens, luxury en suites (one with slipper bath and one with whirlpool bath) and a range of extras such as Satellite TV, DVD, silent fridge, tea and coffee making facilities, fluffy towels, hairdryer and luxury toiletries.  Two of our rooms can be made up with either superking or twin beds.

    We know Scotland well and love to help all of of our guests get the very best from their stay. As experienced hill-walkers we are happy to provide maps and ideas for walks and have facilities for drying clothing and equipment.  Delicious packed lunches are available too on request.

    Road Directions

    Travelling north on Grantown-on-Spey High Street turn left after the pedestrian crossing traffic lights into Seafield Avenue. Travel 600 yards along Seafield Avenue passing Rhuarden Court on the left. The Dulaig's tree-lined drive is on the left immediately before the field and the height restriction traffic sign. Turn into the drive and follow this for 200 yards to the house, crossing the bridge on the way.

    Public Transport Directions

    From the nearest information centre:- From Tourist Information Centre (in Grantown Museum) in Burnfield Avenue head north-west  towards castle Road. Turn left onto Castle Road and travel for 330m. Turn right into Seafield Avenue. Travel 500m along Seafield Avenue, passing Rhuarden Court on the left. The Dulaig's tree-lined drive is on the left immediately before the field and the height restriction traffic sign. Turn into the drive and follow this for 200 yards, crossing the bridge on the way.

    Getting there by railway:- From the south - Train to Aviemore then Bus or taxi to Grantown-on-Spey.
    From north - Train to Inverness then Train to Aviemore or Carrbridge then Bus or taxi to Grantown-on-Spey.


    Getting there by aeroplane:- From Inverness airport. Follow signs towards Inverness. Turn left onto A9 south, turn left onto A938 at the junction signed Grantown-on-Spey. Follow signs to Grantown-on-Spey
